Innfocus Photography was founded on a clear principle: hotel photography should be consistent, efficient, and aligned with brand standards, while allowing room for thoughtful detail.

Co-founded by Steve Carter and Kalli Sagos, Innfocus brings decades of combined experience in hospitality photography, hotel operations, and project delivery. Our approach is grounded in strong industry relationships and a clear process that supports communication and consistency.

We are a preferred partner for Hilton and Hyatt, and approved by IHG. Our clients include hotel owners, management groups, and brand teams across Canada and the United States. They count on us for professionalism, accuracy, and dependable results. Every stage of the project, from pre-production to final image delivery, is designed to be straightforward and reliable.

With over a decade of experience and more than 2,800 hotel photoshoots to his name, Steve brings a thoughtful, client-focused perspective to every project. As President and Co-Founder of Innfocus, he is dedicated to understanding each client’s unique needs and delivering photography that aligns with brand standards and meets project objectives. We work closely with hotel teams, management groups, and brand representatives to ensure expectations are clear, timelines are met, and the process runs smoothly from start to finish.

Pre-Production

  • The foundation of every successful shoot begins with preparation.
  • We confirm brand standards, project scope, and timelines.
  • Shot lists and room types are reviewed and finalized.
  • Detailed prep guides are provided to ensure spaces are styled, staged, and camera-ready.
  • Logistics are coordinated with on-site staff to reduce disruptions and streamline the schedule.

Production

  • On shoot days, our photographers and stylists focus on capturing brand-aligned visuals with precision and flexibility.
  • The assigned photographer is matched based on experience, location, and brand familiarity.
  • We focus on lighting, composition, and brand compliance while adapting to real-time conditions.
  • When a stylist is involved, they work alongside hotel staff to fine-tune spaces and manage props.
  • Communication remains active with your team to ensure alignment throughout the shoot.

Post-Production

  • Our editing and quality control process ensures consistent, polished results that reflect brand expectations.
  • Images are professionally edited to match brand guidelines for color, contrast, and clarity.
  • A dedicated internal review checks for consistency, technical quality, and detail accuracy.
  • Final files are delivered via a private gallery within 15 to 20 business days of the shoot.
  • We remain available for any questions, refinements, or support after delivery.
